About Sarcura

Sarcura is a start-up developing a novel industrial manufacturing platform for personalized cell therapies, such as CAR-T therapies. We develop instruments at the interface of deep tech and life science, using state of the art silicon technologies embedded in microfluidic systems to control biological processes.

We are recruiting a highly motivated, dynamic, and open-minded Prototyping Engineer (m/f/x) joining our team to contribute to the development of novel manufacturing devices for personalized cell therapies used to fight and treat cancer. The position entails to contribute to the design, assembly, and testing of prototypes for the development of cell therapy manufacturing devices.

Your responsibilities include

  • Design, build, and test fluidic, mechanical, and electronic prototype systems within an interdisciplinary team
  • Perform hands-on lab work and troubleshooting
  • Efficiently communicate and discuss results within the company

Your skills, knowledge, and experiences

To perform your tasks, you should have the following skills, knowledge, and experiences:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in an Engineering discipline
  • CAD design
  • Good knowledge in CNC-milling, 3D-printing
  • Interest in microcontrollers, basic electronics, programming (e.g. Python), mechanical engineering and automation
  • DIY attitude
  • Demonstrate creative and critical thinking and have solid troubleshooting skills
  • Be organized and able to set your own priorities for a project
  • Very good documentation and communication skills in English

The salary for this full-time employment starts from € 40,000 annual gross, depending on your experience and qualification. The place of work is at IST Park, Plöcking 2, 3400 Klosterneuburg.
